Yesterday I took a trip to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden! This was an incredibly resourceful and insightful visit as it contained a lot of very relevant exhibits and information. I took a tonne of pictures which will be very useful throughout the stages of development on the project. I few things I managed to gather reference for were; Countless London Underground posters and advertisements, old tickets, Old London Underground trains and carriages, station signs, seat materials, station benches and plenty more!
The best bits of reference material I managed to gather was getting to go inside and around lots of old London Underground trains and carriages with my camera. This meant that I could get a good idea of the size and general feel of the train and carriages along with being able to get pictures of the interiors and exteriors. Hopefully more useful research trips to come!
